Wow, that was such a great chapter. Indeed, James Bond. :) I'm with Ennis; not so sure I like putting Jack out there as a guinea pig! I can also see how hard it is for Jack. So vulnerable with his vision loss, yet needing to stand on his own as well. I loved the ending and how both of them have come to realize the depth of their love. And totally understand the almost paralyzing fear and devastation of fatally losing the other.
