Wonderful to see this sequel. I love the way you set the scene from Jack's perspective - it is really amazing the way you let us hear and feel his world.
I know Lureen and Ennis think they're doing the right thing but in a way they should be careful since - I think - to Jack they could be signaling that they can't accept him blind. Which to a man like him could lead to all sorts of doubts.
